Unas semanas después de dar a luz a su hija Maddie Briann, Jamie Lynn Spears exhibe a su recién nacida, relata detalles de su parto “perfecto” y sus deseos de ser un ama de casa sureña.

Spears y su prometido Casey Aldridge tuvieron a Maddie en un hospital de McComb, Misisipí, el 19 de junio. La hermana menor de Britney Spears posa con la niña en la portada de la revista OK! como se anticipaba, dado el hecho de que anunció su embarazo a la misma publicación y según reportes recibiría un jugoso cheque por fotografías exclusivas de su bebita.

Las fotos se tomaron en la casa de la pareja en Misisipí. La revista no comenta sobre los términos de sus acuerdos con celebridades.

En una entrevista con OK!, la joven de 17 años dijo haber estado nerviosa por el parto pero que “todo encajó. Estaba llegando a la hora prevista. Tuve un embarazo perfecto y un parto perfecto. Fue una bendición”.

Jamie Lynn dijo que el ver a Aldridge, un cavador de zanjas de Liberty, Misisipí, cargando a Maddie por primera vez “fue lo más increíble… El estaba tan feliz, y eso me hizo la persona más feliz del mundo”.

La familia inmediata de Jamie Lynn, incluida su hermana mayor, estuvieron allí para el nacimiento, aunque Aldridge era el único que pudo entrar a la sala de parto.

“Fue un día tan grande”, relató. “Y el poder tener a mi hermana ahí, a toda la familia ahí, significó mucho para mí. Todos viajaron para celebrar”.

Lynne Spears, quien ya era abuela de los dos hijos de Britney, le dijo a la publicación: “Uno siempre olvida lo pequeños que son, y entonces los carga. Ronroneé como un gatito, y recuerdo haber dicho, ‘Jamie Lynn, es tan hermosa’”.

Jamie Lynn cree que Maddie se parece a su papá.

“Aunque me encantaría que se parezca a mí, (pues) acabo de cargarla por nueve meses, ¡se parece a Casey! El me lo recuerda todos los días”, expresó.

Dijo que Maddie duerme en un moisés en la habitación de la pareja porque “no está lista para colocarla (en su cuarto) al otro lado de la casa”.

Señaló que Lynne Spears es una abuela práctica.

“Mama ha estado aquí un montón”, indicó. “Quiere ver a la bebé todo el tiempo. Me dijo que los doctores siempre serán muy estrictos y dirán ,’no hagas esto y no hagas aquello’. Simplemente sigue tus instintos. Tú eres la madre y tú sabes lo que tu bebé necesita. Eso es lo que yo he hecho y parece haber funcionado”.

Jamie Lynn, quien recientemente protagonizó en la serie de Nickelodeon “Zoey 101″, dijo que planea criar a Maddie en el sur del país, donde “el foco está en la familia”.

“Me encantaría ser una mamá que lleva a sus hijos a jugar fútbol”, manifestó. “Aquí no tienen fútbol, pero me encantaría ser una mamá que lleva a sus hijos a jugar softball”.

A few weekends ago, 42-year-old Sammy Zabib of Queens, New York, and his girlfriend, Anna, went to Atlantic City. They were at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa there and, in one of the shops, his wife saw some jeans she liked.

–Sammy told her he’d buy her the jeans before they left Atlantic City . . . but he forgot. And for the rest of the week, she wouldn’t stop talking about THAT. Sammy says, quote, “She was mad. We had an argument. More than one.”

–So, to finally shut her up, on Friday, Sammy woke up at 5:00 A.M. and drove three hours BACK to Atlantic City to buy her the jeans. He even took a picture of the jeans just to make sure he’d get the right ones. (–Is he a really nice guy or super whipped??? Hard to say.)

–He got to the Borgata before the store selling the jeans had opened. So, to kill some time, he sat down at a Slingo slot machine and started betting $4-a-spin. (–He works as a limo fleet manager in Queens. Which apparently pays better than we would’ve guessed.)

–And that’s when he hit the jackpot . . . and WON ALMOST $800,000. (!!!) He took his money, bought the jeans, called Anna and, quote, “She wasn’t mad anymore.”

–But, he says, even though NOW he’s glad he went back to Atlantic City, he’s STILL not sure why she was freaking out over the jeans. Quote, “I don’t know much about them. They look like normal jeans.” (Newark Star-Ledger)

Who knew that the BOY SCOUTS were training kids to become THIS badass?!?

–Yesterday, in the Maldives . . . which is a country, made up of a bunch of small islands, in the Indian Ocean . . . an assassination attempt was made on the president and he was saved by . . . a BOY SCOUT.

–70-year-old Maumoon Abdul Gayoom is the president of the Maldives and yesterday, he went to one of the islands in the country, called Hoarafushi. A crowd had gathered to greet him.

–As the president walked through the crowd, 20-year-old Mohamed Murshid pulled out a knife that he’d wrapped in the Maldives flag and ran up to try to STAB and kill Gayoom.

–But the Boy Scout, 15-year-old Mohamed Jaisham Ibrahim, saw what was happening . . . ran over, and fought the knife out of Murshid’s hand. THEN Gayoom’s security guards figured out what was happening and tackled Murshid.

–During the assassination attempt, Gayoom’s shirt got torn and Ibrahim got a deep cut in his hand while he was wrestling the knife away.

–Ibrahim was flown to a hospital in Male, which is the capital of the Maldives, for treatment on his hand.

–A government spokesman says they don’t know the motivation for the assassination attempt yet. Islamic militants HAVE been performing terrorist acts in the Maldives . . . including a bombing last year . . . so the government thinks they could be responsible.

–In the Maldives, the Boy Scouts are just like the ones in the U.S. . . . they do things like camping and learn about first aid . . . and their motto is “Be prepared.”

–Gayoom has been president since 1978, and helped turn the Maldives into a major luxury tourism spot.
